Our Elimination Diet

August 27, 2014 we officially started The Food Behavior Project.  We are hoping to find that a change in our son’s (Mr Rockstar) diet would help with his ADHD symptoms.  After extensive research we chose to eliminate Casein, Chocolate, Citrus, Corn, Dairy, Egg, Gluten, High Salicylate Food, Legumes (taken out later based on data), Peanut, Soy, Sugar, Yeast, Artificial Food Color, and Artificial Preservatives.  Follow along with us on this journey:

Stage 1:

No Casein, Chocolate, Citrus, Corn, Dairy, Egg, Gluten, High Salicylate Food, Peanut, Soy, Sugar, Yeast, Artificial Food Color, and Artificial Preservatives.

Stage 2: Salicylate Challenge plus No More Legumes

No Casein, Chocolate, Citrus, Corn, Dairy, Egg, Gluten, Legumes, Peanut, High Salicylate Food, Soy, Sugar, Yeast, Artificial Food Color, and Artificial Preservatives

Stage 3: Dairy Challenge

No Casein, Chocolate, Citrus, Corn, Dairy, Egg, Gluten, Legumes, Peanut, High Salicylate Food, Soy, Sugar, Yeast, Artificial Food Color, and Artificial Preservatives

Stage 4: Egg Challenge

No Casein, Chocolate, Citrus, Corn, Dairy, Egg, Gluten, Legumes, Peanut, High Salicylate Food, Soy, Sugar, Yeast, Artificial Food Color, and Artificial Preservatives

    1. So glad you found my blog! Yes when I was in the same situation I looked for HOURS thinking surely someone had already done this and recorded it. When I couldn’t find what I was looking for I thought I would blog about our journey to hopefully help others in the same situation! Hope you find it useful!
